UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE, THE FIRST TEAM PITCH MUST NOT BE USED FOR TRAINING OR MATCHES BY ANY SECTIONS OF THE CLUB, OTHER THAN FIRST TEAM HOME MATCHES, UNLESS SANCTIONED BY SENIOR DIRECTOR OF RUGBY MARK VICKERS.

The principal reason for this is that due to the extremely hot weather the treatments applied by our contractors are incomplete so overuse in the early part of the season will be very detrimental to the playing surface.

Once the conditions improve, any section wishing to use the first team pitch must have explicit approval from Mark.

Winchester City Council have pledged to allocate extra space on the furthest cricket pitch for mini’s training in conjunction with the new  “ADIE MORT” memorial pitch.

I thank you all for your total co-operation.
